This Privacy Policy explains how ClubLifter (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ClubLifter mobile app. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app’s features:

• Phone number. When you sign in, we ask for your mobile number and verify it with a one-time SMS code. Your number is how we identify your account and save your loyalty progress. We do not require a password.
• Name (optional). You may provide a display name for your profile. This is optional.
• Location. With your permission, we use your device’s location to show clubs near you and to tell you when you’ve arrived somewhere with participating venues. Location is used while you use the app; we do not sell it or use it to track you across other apps.
• Check-in activity. When you scan a venue’s QR code, we record the check-in (which venue, and when) to award loyalty points and calculate your level and rewards.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and secure your account (phone verification).
• To show you nearby participating venues and their offers.
• To record check-ins and run the loyalty program (points, levels, rewards).
• To send you app notifications, such as welcoming you when you arrive in an area with participating venues.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the app.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:

• Participating venues. When you check in or redeem an offer at a venue, that venue may see that a member checked in and redeemed an offer, so they can honor it.
• Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the app — for example, an SMS provider to send your verification code, and mapping services to show venue locations. They process data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the app.

Reviews

The app may invite you to leave a review of a venue. If you choose to, you’ll be taken to that venue’s public review page (for example, on Google). Leaving a review is entirely optional and is never required to use the app or earn rewards.

Data Retention

We keep your account information and loyalty history for as long as your account is active. If you’d like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the address below and we’ll remove it.

Your Choices

• Location. You can allow or deny location access in your device settings at any time. The app still works without it, though nearby-venue features will be limited.
• Notifications. You can turn off notifications in your device settings.
• Account deletion. Contact us to delete your account and data.

Age Requirement

ClubLifter features nightlife venues and is intended for adults of legal age (21+ where applicable). The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Communication with our servers is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
